Professional Events

I attended the 2021 Virtual Conference for Health and Physical Education hosted by Human Kinetics.

There were various webinars, but I was particularly excited about the "Universal Design for Learning in Physical Education" Webinar because I am a Certified Adaptive Recreation and Sports Specialist. This webinar was all about creating equitable opportunities for all students to participate in your lessons by providing meaningful access and reducing barriers.

Volunteer Work

Happy Valley FitLink

Happy Valley FitLink is a program that provides individuals with intellectual disabilities a chance to participate in extracurricular fitness activities. This organization was started by my peers at Penn State University, and I had the opportunity to volunteer alongside them during my independent study last spring.
